My approach to therapy is attachment/systems-based. I view each client as a member of multiple systems, which pull on them in different ways. Together, we work to understand these influences and how they both help and hinder you. From this place of understanding you then are free to choose what no longer serves you. I believe you posses the innate ability to help yourself, and my role is to act as a well-trained tour guide, while you navigate your own journey to integration and wellness.
I received my undergraduate degree in psychology (honours) from Mount Royal University where I gained a strong foundation in psychological phenomena. I completed my masters of counsellor education at Gonzaga University where learned the art of counselling. This combination has equipped me with a robust theoretical knowledge and practical skills to effectively support my clients. I am committed to challenging you if you are serious about change. My specialties include trans-generational trauma, insecure attachment, resilience, and family dynamics.
