1. Are my sessions covered by insurance?
Insurance coverage varies depending on your individual plan. It's best to check directly with your extended health care provider. Most clients find that their sessions are either fully or partially covered. Please have the following information handy when you inquire:
Kathleen Anne O'Reilly CCC (Canadian Certified Counsellor) with the CCPA (Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association) Membership # 11245318, ATCA (Association of Counselling Therapy Alberta) # 2800
2. Do I need a referral to book an appointment?
No referral is needed. You can easily book a session by clicking the 'Book Online' button from Jane on my website, or message me through 'Contact Me' in the home page.
3. How much do the sessions cost?
Fees are payable at the end of each appointment by e-transfer or credit card. Here are the rates for my most common sessions:Â
Individual counselling: $180 for a 60-minute session
Couples counselling: $300 for a 90-minute session
Family Constellations: $360 for a 2-hour session
4. How many appointments will I need?
The number of counselling sessions varies based on your individual needs and goals. Typically, clients attend weekly or bi-weekly sessions, with some finding monthly sessions beneficial. The range can vary from a few sessions to ongoing support, tailored to fit your unique situation.
5. How soon can I book an appointment?
Usually, there is a 1-week wait time for appointments. If you need an evening slot (4:30 pm or later), it may take 2-3 weeks to book.

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel. Without sufficient notice, the full session fee will apply.

Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of my practice. However, there are legal exceptions:
If a child or vulnerable person is being abused, I am required to inform the authorities.
If someone's life is in danger, I must warn them.
